It's something we've been dying to do since the band got together. When we were young, fearless and had no appreciation for the value of money we would regularly go away for long weekends in the van to do 2 or 3 gigs. These trips took us all over. From Hull to Skegness, Wolverhampton to Rhondda. Some shit gigs, some good. We invariably incurred financial losses, but it good fun, and it taught us the value of packed lunches and spare pants.
Anyway, for those who give a toss, here are our tour dates:

I Just did a google direction thingy for all the dates, and it's just over 2000 miles all round. Plenty of time to laugh, cry, drink, eat, vomit, argue, play guitar hero. We're just putting the final touches to Thunderchild II (that's our new van). TV went in today. Playsation tomorow, followed by a length of hosepipe connected to a plastic funnel, hosepipe draining through a hole in the floor of the van...
I'll try and keep this updated while we're away. It'll give me something to do in the days. I did buy a Flip Video camera to get some footage of us on the road, but Joey thinks it's pretentious, and anyway last time we took it out we nearly got arrested on a train for dressing up as hunters (barber jackets, riding hats and wellies) and asking unsuspecting passengers if they'd seen a fox. A preacher eventually took offence to being filmed. Thankfully, a fight in a nearby nightclub gave us enough time to break
out of the train before the Police could arrive. Next time we're going to dress a toddler up as a fox and send it running down the carriage before us.
I'll try and keep this interesting anyway. Only interesting stories such as the time we played in Mansfield and the landlord offered us the sofas in the venue. Only Joe Dave and myself slept in the venue for some reason. Anyway, after a drunken beerfight we fell asleep naked on the floor, only to be awoken by the cleaner, mopping around our dishevelled frames in the morning. Dave used to play rugby, hence the nudity.
Plenty of stuff coming up anyway. We've got Tihnes Fest in April (our first trip abroad with TLR),
The Fear coming out in May (hopefully!), and Putte I Parken festival in Sweden in July. If I remember anything vaguely interesting or funny I shall record it here for anyone bored or obssessive enough to care.
That'll do for now! Until next time.
